‣TED BUNDY: He represented himself in 1979 trial for the Chi Omega murders. The convicted serial killer died in 1989 by the electric chair.
‣JOEL STEINBERG: In 1987, the New York man was convicted of manslaughter for the death of a six-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 8 to 25 years in prison and was paroled on June 30, 2004. He acted as his own attorney for his 2007 civil case.
‣COLIN FERGUSON: He received six consecutive life sentences for murdering six people on the Long Island Rail Road on December 7, 1993.
‣DR. JACK KEVORKIAN: The retired pathologist was charged with first degree murder in 1999, and he was released on June 1, 2007 after serving eight years of an 10-25 year prison sentence.
